Because Ideas Can Be Hot And Cold

Milano, Italy

Revival. This is the concept behind the renovation of the neoclassical building at Via Senato nr. 22 in the prestigious Brera district in Milan, once the residence of the Ranza family, now carefully converted into a boutique hotel by the architect Alessandro Bianchi. The Ginkgo Biloba leaf which boldly decorates the facade of the building is repeatedly proposed also in the interior decor, a concrete symbol of renewal and renovated energy that permeates the hotel. A contemporary language interacts harmoniously with the elements and materials that represent the Milan architecture of the first part of the twentieth century: elements in brass, velvet, wood and wrought iron.
