CEADESIGN proudly unveils CEA CORTINA, situated in the heart of the Ampezzo Dolomites. Nestled in the Gilardon area, at the foot of the illustrious Tofane, Ciasa Lucrezies emerges as a meticulously restored historic Ampezzo building, originally ravaged by fire in 1939, designed by the esteemed Gris Dainese studio. The structure operates solely on renewable energy sources and boasts CasaClima A + Nature certification, reflecting CEA's commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.
With CEA CORTINA, the company aspires to present an innovative vision of space interpretation, enhancing venues of hospitality and conviviality while emphasising the quality of materials, bespoke craftsmanship, and meticulous attention to detail. Every facet of the living experience is thoughtfully curated for optimal comfort: dimmable lighting fosters the perfect ambiance in each room, while natural-toned fabrics adorn the upholstery and curtains. The kitchen features a tap with microfiltration for still and sparkling water, coupled with an integrated instant hot water system. Thus, it serves as the exclusive dispensing source for potable water, promoting reduced bottled water consumption and ensuring unparalleled domestic comfort and efficiency.
Incorporating recyclable natural materials from late 19th century barns—such as first-patina oak for furnishings and wall paneling and second-patina oak for flooring—invites warmth and charm. The walls, where not adorned with wood, are finished in natural lime in a sophisticated green pepper hue, echoed in the marble selections. The Castellavazzo marble, named after the nearby locale at the foot of the Belluno Dolomites, features a grey-green tone that serves as a cohesive element throughout the residence: from the flooring in the entrance and kitchen to the fireplace in the living area, it also elegantly unifies the bathrooms, interpreted through CEA’s ABACO project.
In the bathrooms, CEA offers the pinnacle of stylistic and functional interpretation. The integrated ABACO bathroom system optimizes toileting areas, allowing for more spacious living and bedroom environments. It seamlessly integrates all spaces while enhancing the elegance of the bathrooms. Dividers, occasionally crafted from tinted glass or natural linen curtains, create an inviting intimacy without compromising space usability and views into the bedrooms, fostering an expansive and cohesive atmosphere.
All showers feature chromotherapy and are designed to elevate wellness and relaxation, complemented by a circular double bathtub crafted from solid marble, complete with a hydro-massage system. A zenithal light well from the perimeter courtyard serves as a filtering division with the sauna, purposefully positioned outside to allow enjoyment of the winter temperature variations. Within the cedar wood sauna, the ARIACHIARA collection fan enhances the sensation of warmth, while an outdoor water cascade made of satin-finished steel completes the wellness experience.
At CEA CORTINA, we proudly showcase our AISI 316L stainless steel bathroom and kitchen collections, recognised as the benchmark for contemporary architecture. ABACO represents a modular integrated bathroom system, featuring a heated toilet seat and bidet, storage drawers, a spacious bench, and LED lighting. This customizable project offers a selection of finishes: marble, wood, metal, and mineral composite.
