Wins the Archiproducts Design Awards 2023

SIXTY, the new taps and accessories collection designed by the architect Glenn Sestig for CEADESIGN, wins the eighth edition of the Archiproducts Design Awards 2023 and is awarded the Special Mention for Sustainability.

«This year's protagonist is the Black Ivory finish. - declares Roberta Bertacco - Developed and launched with the SIXTY project, a collection of taps and accessories designed by architect Glenn Sestig for the exclusive La Réserve hotel in Knokke. Inspired by an archetypal shape, SIXTY’s design emerges from this extension, creating an ergonomic and elegant geometry, where shape and rigour of lines give life to an uncompromising aesthetic - an expression of harmonic and functional coherence. The Black Ivory finish, with which CEADESIGN adorns the stainless steel, becomes a characteristic feature as well as a design topic for architects and interior designers. This is achieved through an innovative nano-structured coating that transforms the object that wears it into an ethereal dimension, beyond space and time. The shared values of our company, which include the passion for design, artisan tradition, use of cutting-edge technology and the aptitude for energy, are what bring the Black ivory finish to life. Thanks to Archiproducts, CEADESIGN continues the constructive and enriching dialogue with architectural studios worldwide.»

The Special Mention for Sustainability, introduced for the first time in the 2021 edition is an acknowledgement aimed at celebrating products that have stood out not only in terms of the use of recyclable and biodegradable materials but also production techniques that reduce emissions. Hence, with a minimum environmental impact throughout the entire life cycle of the product, from production to use by the end user.

SIXTY is entirely made of stainless steel, a high-performance material, hygienic, antibacterial, totally recyclable, and ideal in any bathroom environment. Its lasting durability is the essence of quality and ecology. SIXTY was examined and evaluated by a select jury of experts in eco-design and sustainability from the world of design and architecture.
