LA RÉSERVE

Gentle glamour and refinement

Belgium - Knokke-Heist

Overlooking the Silver Lake in Knokke-Heist, Hotel La Réserve, which opened its doors in 1949, has undergone a complete renovation designed by architect Glenn Sestig.

The renovation, which began with the common areas and is set to be completed with the rooms in 2024, honours the hotel's rich heritage by blending high-quality materials with a minimalist design approach. The main hall, which houses the reception and lounge areas, presents a modern reinterpretation of the 1930s chic, where materials such as eucalyptus wood, onyx, marble, and brass take centre stage.

The interior spaces, along with custom-designed furnishings, reflect the signature style of Glenn Sestig, who has also created the new SIXTY collection of taps and accessories in stainless steel for CEADESIGN. Inspired by an archetypal shape, the SIXTY collection is characterized by its extension into an ergonomic, elegant form—an embodiment of functional harmony. In the restrooms of the common areas, the taps and accessories from the SIXTY collection are showcased, finished in the exclusive Satin Black Ivory—a colour inspired by one of the finest coffee varieties.

This thoughtful design choice enhances the luxurious ambience of La Réserve, offering guests an elegant experience with views of the Knokke-Heist coastline all year round.
